Is 11 meter the only thing I'd be missing with that Icom? If I had a rig that did 11 meter I'd take the Cobra to the truck, but if that's the only shortcoming I can leave them side-by-side on my desk no problem. Is the Icom 12v or 120v, and if 12v will my 12a popwer supply drive both? No...

It looks like the Ixom is a better radio and is priced lower as well...am I getting that right on it being a better radio? The Kenwood is $350.00 and eHam shows it being a $400.00 radio when new MSRP.

When you cut the seals on the sides to get inside to change the jumpers doesn't that void the warranty?

I knew about the jumpers, but thanks for the info. I'm wanting to get one with freeband setup and could change jumper settings myself if they were set differently, but I kinda hate to void the warranty on a brand new radio from day one by breaking the seals to get inside.

Optima on EBay Duster, do you know if the ones sold on EBay are the export models with the continous tuning from 10 thru 12 meter? The only one I find on there is from Cold Front Sales and the ad reads "10 & 12 meter" rather than 10 thru 12 meter. It comes both ways and I want the 10 thru...
