well i have the ranger 6900 fhp & it had the turbo/tune by EEI. sent it to Panther Electroincs for a detune & just a peak & tune the radio sounds great on am & ssb. John did a great job fixing the @#%$ job EEI did. it did not have the birdie noise some did (i think it was the 6900 fturbo models...

i just wanted to know the pros & cons of this radio. but as i read down in the past post i found my answer. santa </p>

the 257 i have picks up noise in the semi? i may not have a good ground though.but mt ranger 6900 is nice and quite except for heater fan noise. hello 31 santa </p>
