I think the aluminum antennas are DC grounded . Measure across the pl-259 connector of the IMAX 2000 for continuity , see if its an open circuit.. Then measure across a Maco. Kinda like the difference between K40 and the Wilson 1000

The ERF7530 is probably an off the shelf FET like the EFR2030. We are pretty sure the ERF2030 is just a IRF520. It certainly behaves like one. Now off to find what the ERF7530 is.
