curious as to which mobile some of you have had luck with in the very cold
winter. I like to talk SSB so I have a rci158edx that just sucks because of the freq. drift which is made worse by the frigid temps. I just picked up a Magnum 257 and it is stable on SSB but lacks any built in SWR meter...

According to some web-sites the dollar was worth around 2.79 in the late 70s
compared to todays dollar. So if you were willing to buy a new in the box 2000gtl today then the price would not be 350 but more like 976.50

I agree that he has some CRAZY prices on some of his items but who on fleabay doesn't, the trick is to pick what you really want and what your willing to pay and...
add the appropiate filter cap and cig. plug and make your own!
cost will be 10$ compared to 25$
it will be rare that you will need shielded power wire.
