your main concern is to have the antenna matched down low with a MFJ meter, this is the best way to get it perfect. Different length coax is kinda like fine tuning when you try different length's in line, you may see a 1.5 with 12 and then maybe a 1.1 with a 18, you never know what your vehicle...

UPDATE. I have since then gotten a omega force to try out, i got it from Bobs Cb since he was the one who made the Top gun board for those radio's, I had him tune it and align it to perfection. The Radio is AWESOME, i mean it has a AWESOME receive, one of the best that i have had in my life...

Yes, i think richard does warrenty work for them, im not 100% sure. RR can hook you up as well, if not him richard is fantastic as well, i have never had a bad tune up buy him. </p>

I have had many radios that i can say the receive sucks compaired t omost i have had, maybe you have not had enough radios to really tel la difference yet tommy, not saying you havent, but maybe tha tis the case, or you have had all equal radios. Later fellow Gold Member LOL </p>
