The talk back is probably the problem (because I was messing with the clarifier) but I can't seem to turn it off. If I open up the radio can I turn it off from the inside? Or disconnect it? Thanks

I got it to receive (operator error), but now it screams at me when I key the mic, and the frequency selector knob isn't working perfect. Not sure if I will send this thing in for repair or not. I may just cut my losses and be done with it. Thanks for all the help. Surge
