Rocky, if you go with the 17" or 22" shaft antenna, you will need to use the lug terminal type mount. The one for the so239 is not recommended for rooftop antennas. Kale
Rockytherotty, The 17" shaft antenna should tune very well on your Jeep. The antenna screws right into the mount you put on the roof and takes just a few seconds to unscrew to go off road. Kale
King Mudduck, which 10K did you have and what kind of vehicle was you mounting it on. The radiating pattern of the 102 and a coil antenna is altogether different. I market 6 different length shafts and it is important which one you was working with. Kale
cbshack, I think me and Dan are both using Delrin for insulator material. I talked to Ghost Rider in Florida a while back. He is running AC class and said at 100 KW, thats right, 100 KW he can't melt Delrin. He said regular plastic will melt under RF power. No more power than Dan and I am...
MASTER CHIEF, One of the best skip talking set ups was two 10K antennas co-phased on the headache rack of my pickup. They do not have to be any certain distance apart to work well. The closer they are to each other the narrower the signal will be. They talked very well and the "hearing" was...
cbshack, if you run this test you need for both antennas to have the same amount of coils, the same shaft length and each one tuned for the vehicle. A 12" shaft 10K is not to be used on the trunk of a car. This test won't prove much which ever one "WINS". Some of the 10K's are designed for local...

smalltiredart, whats wrong with the way the coil is held to the shaft? It's taking 15kw and not even warming up. I guarantee it not to come loose. A welded coil doesn't work any better than the 10K. I designed it that way so it can be replaced if it is damaged so the whole antenna won't be a...
Devildog, You don't have "A" antenna, you have 4. You have a horizontal and you can make it a single coil vertical, a two coil verticle and a single coil horizontal. You cant do this with an antenna that won't come apart. Kale
Coily, thanks for the compliment. About the price game, I haven't sold direct to an indivudal in a long time. Due to a heavy work load, I only have time to sell to three of my distributors and 14 dealers. When someone calls me and wants to order an antenna, I tell them that they can get it...
