I use one in my one mobile...its accurate enough for the general population. Its lived fine in that environment...it worked fine earlier this week when it was below zero here.

You don't want or need a variable in the amp...you control the amp's output with the radio's variable power. I've owned both a comp 4 pill and a Fatboy 1x4...while the 1x4 had bigger numbers (600ish versus about 400 from the 4 pill) it was also a pain to constantly adjust...air temperature...

Who cares...almost nobody looks at feedback anyway. Even bad sellers/buyers work around the system to get good feedback...some even go as far as to threaten you if you leave bad feedback (had that happen). I quit eBay a long time ago...its not safe for either the good buyer or the good seller...
