The cb threads on this site have double the people viewing at any given time . I keep noticing every time i get on the site that the CB related forums have way more viewers at al times . just an observation about this site .

I would check the input power on any amp to make sure it is the right one for the radio. even after i would have the radio dead key set for running a linear amp so that you dont over drive the amp.

when i was stationed in S. korea i tried making contact .but could not get any one on any band . I was told 2 way radio was a no-no in N korea ... maybe i was misinformed .

hood lip mount that does look like a fm radio antenna , only wise to use on the passenger side so you can still use the atms .
