Been using it for almost a week now. Killer audio, and the receive is phenomenal for an old CB radio. But the 858 has always been known for those attributes. An eventual recap is in the works, but I'm leaving it completely stock. Why mess with a good thing? :LOL:

Yes, I sent it in a month ago for warranty repair, but he couldn't find anything wrong with it.
So I'm pretty much stuck with a radio that's useless on SSB.
In having this issue with the QT 60, I'm reminded as to why I always used HF radios over a regular CB or import 10 meter rigs.
I was very hesitant to buy it, now I know why.
