I have talked to a few people that claim the I-10K will out-perform the Wolf-point antenna mentioned above. I have never tested these 2 antennas, so, i can not say whether it will or it won't.

Don't go by gain figures as stated by antenna ads when looking to buy an antenna. The Imax 2000 gain is somewhere around 2.9 and 3.2 with the GPK. A true 1/2 wave antenna will out-perform a 1/4 wave antenna and a true 5/8 wave antenna will do better than a true 1/2 wave antenna. The...
