Not something I would worry about. The chances of some other component failing first are pretty good............ Don't overvolt or overheat the radio, watch your SWR, be careful if you're driving an amp with it, and that radio should last a long long time.

M0OGY just posted this review of the newly released Aquario RP-70 mini SSB/AM/FM radio. I have heard that it is likely to be un-cheap. I've heard US$400 is the probable price point. Considering it is only 7 watt AM/FM and 15 SSB it will need at least a small amp for most folks applications...
