Its working pretty good for having been doa with 4watts into the demon it produces about 220watts dead key and swing about 280watts . and it swings about 285watts on side band.

I began to check tube voltages when i touched v302 pin 2 the am receive came back to crystal and manual mode. then i traced the static down to C311 there was no static on the other side of it. C312 has static on the other side. and R308 had no static on the other side of it. it measured 99k ohm...

Success, I pulled the pink wire from the diodes. turned it on and, the transformer is okay so far. I Replaced all the diodes and the two big caps /resistors. Then i turned it on. success. Then i replaced the tubes one by one . and Success. tomorrow i will test it.

I checked tube voltages. v502 pin 3 should be 40 volts. it measured negative voltage. I traced back to r520 and on the other side of r520 the voltage is back to 230v is this resistor bad?

i am trying to locate Q600 toQ602, D601, R607-8-9. in the radio. the schematic shows them but they do not appear to be were they should be

Hi, i dont know the relay pin numbers so i swapped out the relay no change checking the voltages both A and B on both tubes were still the same low/no voltages.

The v602 voltages are okay but the v600A,and the v601B, voltages are very low or negative voltage im starting at v601 in the schematic and checking the resistors

on am the output is about 1 1/4 watts on the watt meter. on sideband it is about 1/2 watt swing.

i checked the 6.25 frequencies they are okay.

i swapped out one tube at a time starting with v600 then to v700s then to three, four, and five hundred. When i swapped out v602 and turned it on the meter on the tram went all the way to the right side. I went on swapping out and checking then when i swapped out v401, the meter went back to...

it took me a minute but i found the number 43 on the audio board . and the white/blue wire was right next to it.

I checked the value of the can capacitor in the radio it is a 100uf 500vdc x 100uf 500vdc so it is okay
