OK, I found something on kens electronics that says to use the el509's, to move pin 3 to pin 9, then tie pins 2 and 3 together on the tubes sockets, anyone know if this is right? Will it work with the way the phantom is layed out? Thanks guys

How did you ever make out with this amp? I just got one today, cheap, and 2 sets of NOS unused tubes, one used set. There isn't a 10bq6 in it either, and a few things looks to be changed. Just trying to find someone who still has one. Thank you

Thanks for the links. Ill have to get it to do it first. I can talk on it for a while and all is good, then all of a sudden, nothing. After I turn it off and it cools down, then it is good again. the driver and finals are new from a few months ago.
