More gain @the bottom of the band than the top?

Was taught back early 90's, Test swr with Analyzer @ the antenna with coax your gonna use to the radio, 18ft 35ft..etc. Adding wattmeter, amp @ the radio will of course change things @ the shack a little or a lot, but should not change what's @ the antenna, if tuned right. I've went commando...

Put the Moxon up to really take my locals out , and on the flatside does the job. Skip comes in very well on it

I think on the moxon my length might be a tad long by half inch maybe or just leave it be. I think you folks know more about the R= O= Z= stuff than I do. Is it close?

Skip came in a little, can only turn West,Sw,Nw. So far the Moxon is very quiet as I expected. Almost to quiet. Need some of you west coast fellas to aim towards Indiana! I can already tell the flatside is where I like it.

I'll raise it up later on and throw the rig expert back in line to see. It was almost spot on on ch20 down to ch1, going to ch40 I seen a slight change but nothing to drive myself crazy with.
