    Anytone AT5555

It may be an old thread, but there are still some new ones being sold shipped from China. I just bought one. I like the radio, I just wish I knew how to brighten up the backlighting for the knobs. Mine is very dim and difficult to see in the dark. A dimmer on the LCD would be nice to have too.

converting a texas star dx 667v to 11

How does yours work? I got mine today. It came with the conversion done, but it has problems. The relays went chattering when the rec amp was engaged. Disengaged the rec amp. Then on transmit it sounds like class C not AB1 on sideband with the delay engaged. Folks tell me it sounds like the...

    Sufficent drive for amp

I have a Commstar TX-150 AB Linear, however have not hooked it up. Antenna today hopefully. It has high & low power settings, and all I have is a 12 amp power supply. If I use a basic P=E x I, it wouldn't be big enough at 150W being 12.5Amps for my radio too. Just curious if anyone else ever...

    Sufficent drive for amp

I found this old thread Googling Commstar TX150. I came across one years ago, I never tried it and have no information for it. Any idea of what amperage a power supply would be required for it? I've had it for years with my gear that has been stored for 20 some years. I just purchased an IMAX...
