Try a cheepie BOOMER or fake Palomar you'll see impedance matching issues that will drive you nuts ! I have spent too many hours working with guys trying to get these splatter boxes installed !

Best CB antenna ? MOST shops claim the "best" antenna .......is the one that they make the most profit from . DB gain , bandwidth & tuneability are what sets a good antenna from a great antenna .

Well from the pictures ....it appears that IS the only way he's going to get an antenna on that 'Yota . Nice clean install . Sometimes the best you can do .....is a COMPROMISE . Sort of like using a No Ground plane mobile antenna . If it's the best...

I use a radiowavz dipole , I have been really pleased with it. STEALTHY & very easy to move & reset . SWR for me has NEVER been a problem on 11 meters ! I run extremely LOW power at home but, the antenna receives very well !
