Btw the Grant are a supirior radio have the properly tuned and aligined the shold do around 15 to 18 watts ssb and 12 or alittle better pep am. I have a dx 959 it dont even compair to the recive on the Grants

I have 2 148f they do the same ting i is un toughed still in the box . That amount i belive is not enough to worry about no one on the othe end wont neve see or hear it being off hook up a good freq counter its prob not off thanks Ben

hi All some of the am regs are on th side of the chassie 2"or so back from the channel selector on the later grants if you have sound on ssb and hear talk back the audio chip is ok put a nte 152 for the am reg thanks Ben
