Okay I was on standard CB, not SSB. I went to DTB today and he checked my antenna system and said it was okay. He also went thru the radio and did all of the checks etc that he does. I dont know what the final wattage was though... He did say the mod was down a bit I think but the power was...

Thanks Capt. Its rg-58 3' patch cable. On a side note, is it worth updating my Wilson1000 coax to an upgraded coax? Its an original USA made one, which is said to be better than the newer ones... I just dont know how much the co-ax is hindering anything if at all.

Found it on Amazon. I have Prime so 12 bucks for a cable and adapter and it'll be here Thursday.
