I got antenna up. Tuned out towards top of cb band at 103 inches 50 and zero ended up at 27.5

The green light down worked as good but this mounts in factory location. I had to make a sharp bend to clear the capacitors on display board.

Well i got it done. Heres what i used. 2 wide angle leds. Nice even green display i tried to take a picture but pic didnt do it justice.

I’m not sure on green. I ordered a few other colors in 8mm diffused. I found that green in my junk drawer. It’s the only one I have. I have tons of 5 mm of different styles, most are super bright clear lens ones.

So what is the total length that works? Maco says 248. Does resonance for cb band usually come in longer or shorter?

I have never built 1 of these but I am interested in how it turns out. Hopefully 1 of the experts comes along and helps out.

I tried again this morning but I get it good on one part of the band , but it will be bad on the other end.

I got this thing on Ebay and the core was gone from L10 , and the limiter was cut. I put a core in from a junk radio and replaced the limiter.

Ok I'll give it a try in away from home now but will do tomorrow. Thank you for the quick reply
