im looking to ad some fire to my wire..can i drive a 2 pill amp or do i need to get a 1x2 or 4x..i have a stryker 440 that pep about 50 watts..any suggestions on makes or models..
i have a s-3 that seemed like the finals were bad..ie very low deadkey (1watt)..no swing with modulation..i changed the finals out ..no help.. changed driver out..still no help..could the voltage regulator be bad ..how can i check without taking it out ..it has 2030's across the the board
i have a texas star sweet 16 that i would like to sell or trade for a magnum s3-300..box had a bad pill or two.. had them all changed out.. also have all of the old pills removed..box has 2 fans that come on when power switch is on..

i recently installed a rfx 75 on an older single final galaxy 44.. it works fine when the covers are off the radio...the problem is when you put the solder side cover on the radio it goes in to lock down mode(full power with a squel) as soon as you key the mic. with the talkback on or off .. has...
has anyone used or installed the new LT2N-COMBO board.. i installed the board in a cobra 29 ..the echo part of the board works fine ..the problem im having is with the talkback side of the board.. it works and is clear but the control pot does nothing..will not lower or add to the loudness of...
Thanks for all the responses..i think i will just leave it be then.. it does have clean and clear audio and is plenty loud ..i know what you saying about over modulation that is the c.b. shop special around here..they give them a spatter box and tell them they have a 40 watt cobra and they do...

i just got a lt2n combo board and the instructions are not that clear..i cant find any online that have the talkback..the only thing that i have is the pin outs that read..BLACKWIRE-RADIO BUILT IN SPEAKER HIGH...BROWNWIRE- RADIO AF OUTPUT HIGH..any direction to the right site or the right place...

the super tune at DTB's site is the way to go before you ad the rfx75 minus the final swap ..this is what i did to my cobra 29 before adding the the box..im seeing some numbers in the 100 watt range..crystal clear audio..im gonna ad a echo board to get that punch that only an echo board can...
i have my cobra 29 with the rfx 75 wired direct to the battery ..if you cant go direct to the battery try going to the main fuse block..as far as the general lee working with the same power cord..its only drawing about half as much power say 40 to 50 watts compared to 80 to 100 from the rfx 75...
The RFX 75 does a very nice job in the cobra 29 ltd..clear audio and plenty of power..i put one to the test the other day with alot of talking ..it never even got hot..once again
well ive run the radio in my truck for 3 days and it really gets out.. like i said before not sure of the power that radio with the rfx 75 is putting out but the audio is crystal clear..ive run it with an astatic 636 and a road king 56..reports where good with both mics..i prefer a roadking but...

very reasonable ..local hacks are charging up to 150.00 around the circle city..the only reason i call them hacks is they love to stick it to the drivers who have no where else to go..and a tune up is just cutting the guts out of a radio..
