went to c.b. tricks found some info on the board its called a compander board..anyone know what it does and can that be my problem

can anyone help me with a cobra 29 SE recieve.. the problem is when i kill my white noise using the squelch it (the audio)goes in to moterboat or fart sounding..changed the sq knob no help

welll it aint the final or audio chip,driver all checked ok.. i broke down and took it to the local c.b. shop he seem to think it is the circiutboard that is mounted to the side of the radio .board is about the size of an echo board its marked (KEPC-264-B1..)he also seems to think the radio was...

well the audio chip seems to be ok..both ends had voltage 13.8

i hooked a meter to the radio there is no carrier signal

can anyone tell me what to check to see what to replace ..i have great RX no audio on c.b. or p.a. and the meter needle goes backwards instead of forward when keyed..thanks

injector noise im a newbie to the electronics world..i have been trying to solve a noise problem..i have seen a couple mentions about using CAPs to catch the noise.. will this work on the injectors of a diesel engine?? :?:

can i try this on the injectors of a mack diesel engine to stop the rf noise? thanks

well ive tried everthing all 4 corners of the cab grounded,doors grounded to chasis, antenna mount grounded to door, tried silver load,wilson 2000and5000 the NOISE is killing my ears,, :(

can anyone help me with the placement or how to hook up a noise toy in a 4300 radio works fine till you hook the audio wire from the toy to the radio..than watch out squeelllllll... thanks for any help..

any C.B. radio sold on ebay should meet all FCC LAWS. no echo allowed no more than 3 watts transmit power ..i would buy a 98vp for that money o well theres my 2 cents ..

i still havnt found the source of the noise but.. i did fnd out that if i touch the whip on the wilson 2000 or 5000 with my finger that the noise completly dissapear..anybody know what i can do to solve this awful problem... PLEASE HELP.....
