Ah, so someone else with a ground plane on an A99! May I ask if you used it without GPK before with it? Was there a noticable difference? I recently added my ground plane but the DX slowed down before I got to really try it out properly. Thanks

I'll second the A99 idea. I have one on a 15' mast on corner of my deck and have had numerous contacts on each coast as well as Yellowknife, NW Territories. It's supposed to work for 10 meter as well, I believe.

Yeah, I figured it could be something like that considering the aurora were going pretty good for several nights in a row. I feel better about it most likely not being my setup.
