Cobra 29 ltd chrome

I just bought my cobra 29 chrome from a friend of mine he had the trb 2 echoboard installed but when the board is turned on it sounds horrible and when it's off the radio sounds good I'm looking for someone to work on my radio or if anyone has answers I would greatly appreciate it
