    The crazy expensive rotator protection boxes forced me into a home brew to protect the Yaesu G-450a. I put one of these at the base of the tower and in the shack using $5 worth of MOVs and some stuff that I keep on hand.

    It's an antenna patch panel. Radios on the left, antennas on the right. Most of the antennas have surge protectors here to go along with the outside antenna tower protection. Dummy load by MFJ also mounted behind.

    The Google Surveillance Car drove through our town this week. They caught me on the tower and also driving to the airport.
