    I changed my power wires to #4 cable. So I to ditch the small bead also. I prefer to have a choke with a loop. So I have a ton of these large 43 mix beads. I was able to get 2 pass thru my bead on the outside the of cabinet. 31 mix would be better but I do not have any. I plan on buying some...

    Do you have anything extra in line (ie filters,tuners) if so; I would remove them until you figure out where the problem lies. I would invest into an adequate dummy load. What happens when you plug the antenna coax directly into the back of the amp? Does it still hang up? I hope you get this...

    ANYTONE AT-5555N2 receive noise work-around

    Interesting thread. I will have to check mine when I get home. Funny...I never run my RFG control at 100%. My sits between 12:00-3:00 o'clock. My serial # ends with 80034. Update... My receive is just fine. A little white noise no static and my RFG control is nice and linear.
