Can anyone guide me to make this mic work with a trc 418

I can not find another radio the same as this one anywhere. Does anyone know anything about this radio and why I can can only fi d the Hi-Gain VII 23 channel no other Hy-Gain 7 model 3107. I do not know if I should keep it or sell it, what it could be worth or anything.

You never know. But if it is something you like and something you want...you will put it in the shop and wait...and wait....and wait...then one day long from now, get the radio you always wanted.

I was searching the RF parts web site and that's exactly what I found.

The crazy thing is I can't find any data sheets or anything about the transistors online. I definitely can not find the transistors themselves.

Last question for now, idls 15v to much for this old amp

The biggest issue was that I had zero receive at all with the amp powered off and no power to the antenna at all with the amp off, after cleaned the contacts both issues went away and just the preamp doesn't work now. To me that is fine all it did was raise the noise floor anyway. I am still...

I agree there is no point in raising the noise level. I say leave well enough alone.

It is super clean, a nice desk piece if nothing else.

Watt meter is not broken or tinkered with, and it was bench tested at 185 watts at the radio shop. I am sure the Galaxy dx959 is over driving it though.

It's a great amp I can't believe it's getting 220 out of it.

I cleaned the contacts and my receive is back with the amp off and now the preamp just kills all receive when turned in....so I leave it off. Should I put new contacts in it

Also swr sky rockets with it off and is perfect with it on. Can this be bad relays?

When I turn the preamp on and off one of the relays opens and closes the other opens and closes when I key.
