My fault - Left station hooked up on a day it wasn't even supposed to rain. This one cloud comes by with some lightning in it and I must have taken a little finger strike to the antenna. Antenna, power supply and mobile radio - all no damage .... but the 703 was affected. I am just tired of...

I'm thinking it was a stray finger strike through the antenna and not the AC side. Power Supply and mobile radio hooked up suffered no damage.

I've had 1 Pro (wish I still had it) and several diff orig. 746's and still use one now. Never had the Dial issue with any of them. On your Pro, don't forget to go into your Settings and Widen the SSB TX Bandwidth out. Will improve your audio-out.
