    I recapped mine and it brought it back alive. Those console vs are notorious for bad solder joints and they are double sided board. Kinda a nightmare to work on.     Trc 457 tinny audio on ssb

    A buddy's trc 457 has very tinny audio on ssb. Hes asking if there's a way to remedy the audio. Hes tried several mics including the stock mic.
