Thanks nomad, there’s very little rust anywhere on this thing, I can’t say there is none, but I was surprised by how clean it was on the inside other than a layer of dust.

You da man Andy! I changed tr40 and the swr and modulation function both work now. Now I just need to recap the whole entire radio, which to be honest im not really looking forward to, but its the next thing that needs to be done.

Has anybody ever even gotten an honest 50 watts out of a cobra 29/25, pc68/78 style radio? I’ve seen a lot of debate about it, but don’t recall seeing any definitive answers.
