    Can anyone give me any information on Turning up the audio a little bit on a courier 40 channel gladiator? even with a D104 it just does not have very good modulation. Just looking for a little bit of audio that’s all. Thanks

    TOO TINNY!

    Any thoughts on maybe some cap changes to tame the highs on this guy? It’s a treble monster lol. (and different microphones do not make much difference) Im thinking there’s got to be some internal changes made. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you

    mint Tram D42. Really impressed with this radio. Great audio, receive is strong and people sound clear and powerful. NB and Variable ANL are really good. And I love having a receive tone control. This thing rocks!

    you ain’t kidding there’s not A whole lot out there on this radio. Lol. I will say this it has fantastic receive, nice, mellow and clear sounding. I just got to get the transmit audio sounding a little better.

    Just picked up one of these brand new in the box and can’t find any information anywhere on the Internet. Anybody have any idea how to boost the audio on this thing with a diode clip? Thanks! It’s pretty anemic audio wise. Also need mic wiring. It’s not cobra that’s for sure.

    NOS Midland 77-250C. Really enjoying this radio. Nice audio, very good receive. Mike, from Mike’s radio repair on YouTube really liked this radio on one of his his YouTube videos. It has extra noise filtering and actually does receive very nicely.

    I just put a mirror facing downward at the top hat of my super Penetrator so the signal reflects downward!

    And they ain’t cheap now either lol! I bought my 3 on eBay a few years ago. I took a chance only because it was super clean looking and the description showed pictures of it operating. (If it turns on, I can fix Other things it may need, blown transformers suck! Lol) been talking on it every day...

    picked up an original Penetrator, 5 foot tripod and an ancient 102 SS whip at an estate sale. Price, $10!!!!!!! I almost had an accident in my pants when I spotted the Penetrator laying on the basement floor along with the whip. Penetrator will be restored!
