A new kid on the block, check it out - 72 cal and made in Texas.....https://hardairmagazine.com/news/extreme-big-bore-air-rifles-aim-for-quality-and-power/

I was listening to MMM a couple few days ago and he was saying that the new beam was such a tight beam width (25 degrees) that it was just to much trouble to go out and keep turning the beam by using the ropes (no rotor).

Well 025, like I said, I could of gotten my license in '74, (why "74 you ask - cuz that's 2 yrs after I got my 1st radio) and several of the hams in the area were pushing me really hard to get the ticket, and like you were saying - it's lots easier to work other bands. While this is true that...

It's really not much fun to do it easier, I could of got my license back in '74 if I wanted to. I set a goal in the beginning - talk to as many countries (dxcc) that I can on 11 meters, using just a mobile radio, and no amplifier. So now, that is what I call making it a challenge.

I just don't know - for me I am very content in having a contact to Thailand for 40 minute's or a nice QSO with a lady in Indonesia for an hour, and only using 100 watts to do it on 11 meters. For 49 years now, ch 6 has never given me a thrill, oh well, as one would say - que sera sera .............

In the 4-5 yrs around the peak of the cycle, anywhere from 27.420 to 27.670, I would say that 60% of the operators that I talk to around the world are ham op's. Which this is not a bad thing, for I do have some very nice qso's with them. In the last cycle I did find a few stations from...

I just sold a 2995dx this summer to a guy in California. The radio had a better RX as compared to some of my other 2970's. I used a Turner +3 on it and a 575, both mics work just fine, the +3 had a little more audio than the 575, but both work just fine.

Tin_Can, Have you tired looking into getting some arrows from a archery shop? The shops around here can make any size you want.

The Marauder is a straight shooter for sure. Just make sure to keep the air dry, moisture will really cause problems inside. Mine shot the Benjamin pellets really good out to 60 yds and also the JBS Kings were very accurate.

Brazil was all I heard, did talk to 4 stations with good signal reports both ways. San Paulo area. Time here was 12:00am to 1:00pm - W. coast.
