Recently a friend of mine gave me one of these $25 dual band radios. Haven't really messed with it much. I saw a secret menu people were unlocking. Mine will not do it and I noticed mine doesn't look exactly like any of the one I saw. So I am assuming that function was taken away?
While digging through boxes of old radios looking for parts, I ran across this one. I Don't know where it came from. Powers up but no transmit or receive. Thoughts???
Over the past year and a half I have had to move out and move back in to my radio room. Somehow I misplaced the power cord to my meter. Does anyone know what voltage? Thanks in advance.
Recently acquired this radio. Worked for a very short time then I went to power it up one day and had nothing. I did find some burnt components. TR52 R243 C193 to name a few. Can someone point me in the right direction to figure out what caused this. Thanks
