    I have an old stock cobra mic that I'm trying to wire for 5 pin 148gtl. I know what the pins are, but I need to know what wire is what as in, what color is audio, shield, rx, sw com, and tx. Which wires do I use and the color so I know which is which.....thank you

    President Washington

    I just picked up a President Washington, not to be mistaken by the Uniden but a President. It's from the first year they were manufactured in 77. Anyways, the problem I'm having with it is, it will transmitt and modulate on lower channels like 2, but once I go higher to 12 or 17 it does nothing...
