Thanks for the reply to my post I will be taking it back this week to have the same dude look at it if he can't fix it he can hook me up with something else im sure. Hes a pretty good dude...

yeah It didn't come with a stock mic I went to the local shop and bought a Cobra high ger power mic and had them hook it up and test it. It worked so I took it home and hooked it a nothing is comeing out .

It turns on lights up all the switches work. gets great reception with the wilson antenna. Just went out and got a cobra power mic hook it all up to my lil car and got the ole lady to turn on the base unit and bang no output she can hear me key up but nothing else. Can one of you guys help me...
