VX8DR Smart Beaconing Question

With Smart Beaconing on, how it the beacon rate determined? Assume slow setting set to 10 MPH and fast set to 60 MPH. < 10 MPH uses Slow rate? > 60 MPH uses Fast rate? What happens between 10 and 60? Standard beacon rate? :confused1:
