Is This Normal?

I have the same radio 2995dx and the 40012 amp with modulation lights... Mine does the same thing, but I noticed if I unplug the amp and turn the power switch on, the lights will quit blinking after modulating through the mic a few times.. It doesn't affect the performance of the amp though...
