    Portable Powered APRS Station

Heya - W6UFC here and just put together a quick project dealing with Packet Radio Equipment. The fun thing is it runs completely off 10,000mAh Cell Phone Battery and has a 9V/12V switch which comes in handy. The battery also powers the following during the 'duty cycle' (I'd say around 5...

    AnyTone AT-5888UV VHF/UHF Mobile Review

Is this the cousin to the Anytone AT-5189 by chance? (As a side note the 5189 is only available in EU, 4meter / 70mhz) 4 meter is not available in the USA, nor is it within ARRL/FCC Band PLANS (without proper E.STA, of course) Supposedly 4meters acts like 6meters during good 'atmospheric'...

    Home-Brew Galvanized Steel Antenna Mast

This 'MODEL' of Antenna can be structured to fit any type, HORIZONTAL/VERTICAL/DIPOLE - almost anything that needs a mast or clamps..you can get creative I'm finding out with different couplers- though since I have only one radio it's not worth the effort at this time frame to go out and throw...

    Basestation setup..

It's 5 "static" (fluid, constant, and calibrated) Watts PEP, LOL.. As far as the "law of averages" goes, I cannot see RF..only detected and modulate it..

    Basestation setup..

Yeah, between that and the payphone, hard to choose my favorite radio in the photo.

    Basestation setup..

The almighty FT-2900 running at 5W PEP..(antenna not shown).. (Not how big ya rig is - how you 'shake' your WAVELENGTH that squirts the RF/DB out that matters most..) ..she get's HOT sometimes when you press her buttons..or 'run' her to LONG and ROUGH...but 98% she goes with 'programming'...
