    glue Hey thanks Rob. Are you suggesting to place the washer over the finished surface or the sub-surface? originally the mount was on the sub-surface (cracked section) and the stem protruded through the finished surface.

    Hi all, Hope someone can give me ideas on how to fix this microphone receptacle. It is actually snapped plastic on the radio front panel which the microphone jack should be housed on. I was thinking plastic epoxy and a clamp but this is a one shot attempt after it's all glued up.
