    OK help me out here. Looking on Xforce's site at their TNT line. Just as an example this is copied and pasted from their specs on the 600hd; "Max input carrier of 10w or 300w max carrier from amp. Max peak input 240w" How would the amp "know" (and why would it care) if the power was...

    Just hollered out a CQ on 38LSB and talked to 639 in Michigan, he said I sounded loud and clear, and he did too. Didn't last but for a minute though and he faded out. This is pretty cool.

    Well being a neighbor of the member who posted about sending his radio to radioactive and getting it back nonfunctional. Long story short he has a functioning radio for the time being. I have the Connex 3300 HP-ZX in question. Took off the cover and brought up cbtricks.com to have a look-see...

    Wow. I think that would have to come with an asterisk. As in "I made a contact over the pond barefoot* " *= barefoot my radio puts out 200 watts +.

    Magnum S-9 has USB/LSB/AM/FM. I call it barefoot because the radio does it without an amp. I'm a newbie, is that wrong? :blink:

    Just got off the radio. Made contact with 412 in southern Illinios on my Magnum S-9, barefoot swinging 45 watts.:thumbup1:
