    Coax?

    I picked up some coax at a yard sale and can't find what the ohm value is. Somebody taped on a piece of RG-58 to the end of it (what a dork).     Hairpin beta match

    Does anyone know where I can get some specs.- pictures - illustrations on how to make a Hairpin for a 4 element 11 meter beam? Even an antenna design program with the Hairpin in it. I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find a good one that will show you how to do it, not just talk about it...

    D104

    I have a D104 hooked to my Pearce Simpson Cheetah. Does anyone know how to get rid of the pop in the speaker when you unkey and/or key. I tried a diode across the TX/RX relay but it didn't work. Thanks

    Paint

    I'm getting ready to build an 11 meter 4 element beam and want to know if its okay to paint it. I live in the cedars and pines and don't want "Charlie" to find it. Stupid question I know, but somebody might have heard a few myths. Thanks. (BTW) green of course. :P

    Frequency counter

    Has anyone run across a cheap little freq. counter by Wolfgang "Wolf" Buscher DL4YHF. I'd really like to build the thing but I can't figure out where he got the circuit boards or if he made them himself. He calls it (variant 2). If anyone knows of this little project or a similar one let me know...
