    I thought it may. Wasn't planning on using it if I did get the 257, but maybe with something else if that falls through. I may just sell it, did not use it very much anyway.

    I was kinda leaning toward the 257. I was was wondering about the a.m. audio on it since I would use it alot along with ssb. Also a front mic jack is a plus as well. I do have a kl203 laying around at the house, but haven't used it in quite awhile.

I'm a truck driver and I use a.m. alot, but wanted to dip into the ssb world and was wondering what would be a good mobile radio to start with? I run a Galaxy 929 right now and was looking at maybe getting a Uniden 980...
