Ok so it’s been a while since I’ve been on the group guys but this radio is killing me if I take the covers off the radio the frequency is dead on as soon as the radio covers touch the frame of the radio it starts to go crazy and will not stay on frequency what in the world is the problem

When I get in tomorrow I’ll take a look at the diodes and check them out dang I wish I had that info stored in my head you are one smart guy thanks hope tomorrow will be better when solving this problem

I’m handy with a iron and I have the sams photo fact but it’s not of the board I have

Channel one is set at 3.2v but 40 is at 4.675

I have a green light for rx and a hiss in the radio just not herding another radio near or far if I let them up on the same channel

I can touch the board directly under d10 and get a local radio station if that helps

With the small amount of static I can here you have to turn the squelch all the way to to 5:30 to cut all noise out

With the squelch all the way down on the front of the radio I can key the radio next to it and never even hear a bump or nothing like it’s not even there
