Hi Robb. I'm not sure which particular service manual that you looked at, but if you go to the CB Tricks link that you sent this gentleman, you will see that it explicitly shows a typo for the driver bias test point. TP3 is supposed to read TP8. I now understand one of the confusion's that this...

TP3 is a typo. It is supposed to be TP8. The service manual for the Cobra 2000 GTL on CB tricks has that typo. It is supposed to be TP8.

Cobra 2000 GTL Alignment?

Yes, CB Tricks has it, but the service manual for the Cobra 2000 GTL has a TYPO for setting the driver bias current. It incorrectly states "TP3" instead of TP8 and there is why the gentleman is having so much trouble trying to figure this out.
