    problem fixed when i turned knob to s/rf lol. The swr meter from the cobra 148 gtl and my meter now match pretty close when i use the coax only problem now is when i connect the antenna without the coax the swr is high i guess the coax might act as ground? Is one of those back set cb antennas.

    I have a cobra 148 gtl taiwan version side mic. I could transmit and receive but the needle doesn't move when receiving audio. If i key the mic then the needle moves just not on receive.
