Any antenna gurus?

I had a 100 foot horizontal end fed wire for my receiver when I lived in Maryland and it worked quite well. I live in North Carolina now and only have about 30 feet behind my house before a line of trees. I was wondering how would a 100 foot end fed horizontal wire work if it's in a square shape...
