I was considering adding a ALS-500 to the shack until I started reading some of those performance reviews. Also, I’ve heard they require a 50 amp continuous power supply to run Right? Didn’t make too much sense for a 4 transistor amp.

Same here, last 3 days or so in Western wa.

Everyone has said mine sounds really good also. I just need the time to really get to know the radio and all of it’s features. This is my first real ham radio besides 10 meter mobiles. So I don’t have anything to compare too.
