Alinco ALD-24 Memory Battery

Hi and thanks for reading this. The memory backup battery has failed. Does anyone know what battery it is and if I can replace with a modern day battery? I googled the part number from the service manual with no luck. It is shaped like a mini "AA" less than an inch long and is made by eveready...
