    I have my radio hooked up to an external speaker and today I noticed that when I turn the radio on it transmits a faint beep. I changed channels and turned it off and back on and sure enough it's transmitting a beep on power up. I don't have talkback or the roger beep mod. has anyone else...

    I couldn't tell you anything about the lil wil but I run a 5000 on my truck and get out in the 15-20 mile range barefoot with SWR's of 1:1.

    It only took me and my lightning fast mind 3 days to realize that you actuate the ANF by pulling out on the mic. gain knob and boy does it make a differance in receive quality. I think it's a great radio at a great price and your missing out if you pass on it IMHO. :tt2:
