10 meters Saturday

I'm hearing a few signals coming up on 10 this morning---maybe we'll have a little opening today.

I'll be listening on 28.400 and in and out of the chatroom if anyone wants to try to make contact, either on 10 or somewhere else. If I don't respond in chat, I probably stepped away and forgot about it, lol.

The band seems to open up pretty short and to be fairly unstable even second over second here in New England. I did work a Missouri station this morning when I tried 10M CT <> MO at 100 watts on G5RV up about 15M.

On 17M I could hear a South Africa station that was spotted, he was working a CO station with 600W and a 3 element beam.
